Revalytics
Architect
Certification.

The elite designation for coaches and advisors who design, deploy, and sustain a full revenue intelligence system across multiple trades operations. Not a course completion. A demonstration of mastery.

Modeled on the discipline of credentials like Cisco's CCIE: a written exam followed by a real-business applied assessment. Both required. Application reviewed before enrollment.

What's different

Not a course.
A demonstration.

Levels 1 through 3 test whether you can read and act on Revalytics data. The Architect designation tests whether you can build and run the entire system across multiple operations. A different kind of credential. A different kind of bar.

Modeled on

The discipline of
CCIE-grade credentials.

Cisco's CCIE program set the standard for technical credentials: a written exam to test reasoning, followed by a hands-on lab to test the actual work. We borrowed that two-phase discipline. The Architect designation has a written exam that tests cross-platform reasoning, followed by an applied assessment where you design a real Revalytics implementation for an assigned business scenario.

We don't claim equivalence with CCIE. We claim the same standard of seriousness about what a credential should mean.

01

System

System design,
not task execution.

Architects don't just use Revalytics. They design how it gets embedded into the operating model. Accountability structures. KPIs. Team rhythms. Escalation paths. The full system architecture inside a trades business.

02

Proof

Applied assessment,
not just an exam.

Like CCIE's lab, the Architect credential requires a practical assessment. A real business scenario where you demonstrate system thinking, not recall. Both phases must be passed. No written-exam-only path.

03

Adoption

Team activation,
not individual skill.

Architects are assessed on their ability to coach and change team behavior not just their own proficiency. Adoption is part of the credential. A platform that nobody uses is worse than no platform at all.

Who it's for

Coaches.
Advisors. System builders.

The Architect designation is built for the people responsible for revenue intelligence across multiple trades operations not a single shop. Coaches, advisors, and consultants who design the operating system clients run inside.

02

Primary

Senior advisors
& consultants.

Strategic consultants who advise multiple trades businesses on revenue performance, team structure, and operating discipline. The system architects of the trades.

03

Eligible

GMs who
completed the path.

General managers can pursue the Architect designation, but only after holding all three prior certifications. The full path before the elite tier. No shortcuts.

Architect is invite-only by application. Approved candidates schedule the written exam, then the applied assessment. Not for individual operators, frontline staff, or single-shop owners running their own platform. The credential signals system-level leadership across multiple operations.
Domains of mastery

Three things
an Architect must prove.

Each domain tests a different dimension of system-level leadership. All three are assessed in both phases: the written exam and the applied assessment.

02

KPI Architecture

KPI design &
accountability.

Design the KPI framework that connects Revalytics data to team accountability. Set the right metrics at each level CSR, dispatcher, marketer, manager and build review cadences that keep the system running without constant intervention.

  • KPI design
  • Accountability mapping
  • Review cadences
  • Escalation paths

03

Adoption

Adoption &
behavior change.

Coach teams through Revalytics adoption. Diagnose resistance. Change behavior. Sustain usage when the novelty wears off. Architects are assessed not just on what they know but on whether they can make a team operate differently.

  • Adoption diagnosis
  • Behavior change coaching
  • Sustained team performance

All three domains assessed in both the written exam and the applied assessment. Mastery in one without the others is not enough. The Architect designation is granted only when all three are demonstrated together.

The assessment

Two phases.
Both required.

The Architect credential cannot be earned by written exam alone. Both phases must be passed. Candidates who do not pass the written exam are not eligible to advance to the applied assessment.

Phase 1 Written exam

Knowledge
& reasoning.

A rigorous written assessment covering all three domains. Tests your ability to reason across the full Revalytics platform, not just recall definitions.

  • Cross-product scenario analysis
  • KPI design and accountability questions
  • Coaching and adoption case studies
How to earn it

Four steps.
No shortcuts.

The path is designed to ensure every Architect designation has been earned through demonstrated mastery not seat time, not test prep. Real implementation work, scored by humans.

01 Prerequisites

Hold all three
prior certifications.

Active Analyst, Recovery Specialist, and Performance Specialist credentials all three current and in good standing at time of application. Plus 8 active Revalytics customers under your coaching or advisory engagement.

02 Application

Submit your
application.

Architect is invite-only by application. Submit with proof of prerequisites, your current client roster, and a brief portfolio of your operating-system work. Application review takes 2–3 weeks.

03 Phase 1

Pass
the written exam.

A self-paced advanced curriculum covering cross-platform reasoning, KPI architecture, and adoption coaching prepares you. The written exam follows. Candidates who do not pass are not eligible to proceed to Phase 2. Preparation curriculum provided after acceptance.

04 Phase 2

Pass
the applied assessment.

Complete and submit a full Revalytics system design for an assigned business scenario. Reviewed and scored by Revalytics assessors. Pass both phases and the Architect designation is issued.

Annual recertification

The standard
moves with the product.

Architect designations are renewed annually. As the Revalytics platform evolves, certified Architects complete an update assessment to maintain active status. The 8-active-customer requirement applies at recertification too: the credential is for active practitioners, not retired ones.

Aspirational benefit

Recognized
by owners.

Active Architects may be referred to Revalytics customers seeking advanced coaching and system implementation work. Not a guarantee. Not a quota. An aspirational recognition of being a top-tier system implementer in the network.

Questions

Common
questions.

Can I take the Architect assessment without the prior certifications? +

No. All three prior certifications must be active and in good standing before you can apply. Analyst, Recovery Specialist, and Performance Specialist are the foundation. The Architect designation builds on the operational fluency from all three. No exceptions.

What does "8 active customers" actually mean? +

Eight trades businesses that are currently active Revalytics customers under your coaching or advisory engagement at the time of application. The credential is for active practitioners with a real implementation footprint. It distinguishes coaches who advise on Revalytics from coaches who operate inside it with their clients.

What does the applied assessment actually look like? +

You'll receive an assigned business scenario: a trades operation with specific revenue patterns, team structures, and operational constraints. You design a full Revalytics implementation plan - KPIs, team roles, monitoring framework, an adoption roadmap for the scenario team. You submit it with a written defense. Revalytics assessors review and score the work. Real implementation work, not multiple choice.

Why two phases instead of one harder exam? +

Because system design is different from system knowledge. A written exam can verify you understand the platform. It can't verify you can build a real implementation that works. The applied assessment exists for the same reason CCIE has a hands-on lab. Reading about the work is not the work.

How long does the full process take? +

Application review: 2–3 weeks. Preparation curriculum: self-paced, typically 30–60 hours of focused work. Written exam: scheduled at your readiness. Applied assessment: 4–6 weeks from scenario assignment to scored submission. Most candidates complete the full process in 4–6 months from application to designation. No deadline, no cohort.

Is this relevant for coaches who don't run a trades business themselves? +

Yes. Architect is specifically designed for coaches and advisors, not single-shop operators. Most certified Architects don't run their own trades business. They build and run revenue intelligence systems across multiple client operations. The 8-active-customer requirement is what distinguishes implementation experience from theory.

How do I share my designation once earned? +

Three ways. Add the digital badge to your LinkedIn profile (one-click integration). Link your verification page from any professional bio, advisory site, or client proposal. Print or share the PDF certificate. The verification link works publicly anyone can confirm the credential is current and valid.
