You're level two.

Analyst
2 Recovery Specialist

Prerequisite: Active Revalytics Analyst credential. Required for enrollment.

Who it's for

The people closest
to the customer.

Recovery Specialist is the credential for the frontline operators who execute revenue recovery in real time. Required for every Revalytics customer alongside the Analyst champion. Some shops have one person hold both credentials. Larger shops separate the roles.

02

CSRs

Customer service reps.

The front line. Inbound calls, callback queues, estimate follow-ups. The work where the 5-minute and 12-hour clocks actually run.

03

Dispatch

Dispatchers & ops managers.

Job flow, urgency tier triage, scheduling decisions. The people deciding which signal gets acted on first when the queue is full.

04

External

Consultants & agency staff.

External advisors who coach trades businesses on recovery operations. Speak the language. Read the same scoreboard their clients read.

Customers don't enroll separately. The recovery operator is identified during onboarding and the curriculum starts as part of initial training. External enrollees follow the standard path described below.

Curriculum

Five skill areas.
Built for action.

Every skill maps directly to a revenue recovery action. Not theory. The cert is built around what operators actually do in the platform day-to-day, across both Revenue Risk and Recoverable Revenue monitoring.

Revenue at risk

5 min alert
20 min window
then lost-revenue bucket.

Missed calls, capacity declines, callbacks promised but not made. Alert fires within 5 minutes, recovery window closes at 30. Past that, the lead is tracked but no further outreach.

Recoverable revenue

12h alert
24h cliff
36h dead.

Estimates aging out of the close window. Alert at 12h. Close-rate cliff at 24h (38% drops to 6%). After 36h, the estimate is cold and Revalytics stops outreach.

01

Follow-up

Estimate
follow-up workflows.

The structured follow-up sequences that turn open estimates into booked jobs. When to call, what to say, how to document outcomes inside Revalytics. Tied to the 12h / 24h / 36h timing model.

  • Follow-up sequencing
  • Estimate aging logic
  • Outcome documentation

02

Urgency

Urgency tiers
& recovery windows.

Master the urgency tier system that prioritizes which leads and estimates to pursue first. Read recovery probability shifts. Know what each clock tick means for action.

  • Urgency tier logic
  • Time-sensitive follow-up
  • Window expiration

03

Scoring

Recovery
probability scoring.

Understand how Revalytics scores each opportunity for recovery likelihood. Read probability signals. Allocate effort toward the highest-return actions first.

  • Probability signals
  • Effort allocation
  • Score interpretation

04

Missed calls

Missed call &
lead recovery.

Build the habits and workflows that eliminate missed call revenue loss. Identify uncontacted leads. Prioritize callbacks. Close the loop before opportunities go cold. Tied to the 5 / 30 timing model.

  • Missed call identification
  • Callback prioritization
  • Lead loop closure

05

Reporting

Tracking
recovered revenue.

Record, attribute, and report on recovered revenue inside Revalytics. Understand what counts as recovered, how it surfaces in reporting, and how to communicate results to ownership in a language that gets you the next budget call.

  • Revenue attribution
  • Recovery reporting
  • Ownership communication

Every skill maps to a real action a recovery operator has to take. No theoretical urgency frameworks. No exam-prep busywork. The cert tests applied judgment under both timing models simultaneously.

How to earn it

Two paths.
One credential.

Customers earn it through onboarding alongside the Analyst champion. External enrollees earn it through the self-paced course and exam. Both require an active Analyst credential first.

Path A · Primary

Customer operator

Onboarding
to certified.

01

Hold an active Analyst credential

Either you hold it personally, or your shop's designated Analyst champion does. Either way, that prerequisite is in place.

02

Recovery operator identified during onboarding

The Revalytics onboarding team helps you identify who runs recovery. Could be the same person as the Analyst. Could be your head CSR or ops manager.

03

Complete the Recovery Specialist curriculum

Self-paced. Five skill modules. Real CSR and dispatcher scenarios drawn from live trades-business data.

04

Pass the exam & receive credential

Tests applied recovery judgment across both timing models. Pass and receive your verified Level 2 credential. Free, included with the platform.

Path B · External

Consultants & advisors

Course
to credential.

01

Hold an active Analyst credential

The Recovery Specialist builds directly on Analyst-level knowledge. Required prerequisite for all enrollees.

02

Enroll directly

Open enrollment for consultants, agency staff, and operators outside the customer base.

03

Complete the self-paced course

Same five-skill curriculum the customer recovery operators complete. Same scenarios. Same depth.

04

Pass the exam & receive credential

Same exam as Path A. Same credential issued. Same recognition across the network.

Annual recertification

The standard
moves with the product.

Every Recovery Specialist credential is renewed annually. As Revalytics ships new functionality, certified Recovery Specialists complete a short update module to maintain active credential status.

For customer recovery operators, the annual update is included with the platform at no extra cost. The credential stays current as long as the relationship does.

Questions

Common
questions.

Everything you need to know about Recovery Specialist who it's for, what it takes, and what you get when you earn it.

I'm a Revalytics customer. Do I need to do this? +

Yes. Every customer designates a recovery operator who completes Recovery Specialist alongside the Analyst champion. At smaller shops, often the same person holds both. At larger shops, they're separate roles. Either way, both credentials are required at the customer level. Free, included with the platform, no separate enrollment.

Is the Analyst certification really required? +

Yes. Recovery Specialist builds directly on Analyst-level knowledge. You must hold a valid Revalytics Analyst credential before enrolling. The platform fluency from Level 1 is the foundation that makes Level 2's recovery workflows make sense.

Is this cert relevant if I'm not currently using Revalytics? +

Yes for consultants, agency staff, and advisors who want to operate fluently alongside their trades-business clients. The recovery operations principles apply broadly across the trades. The cert just formalizes your fluency in the specific Revalytics platform language and timing models.

How long does the course take? +

Self-paced. Most candidates complete the curriculum in 8–12 hours of focused work. No deadline, no cohort. Slightly longer than Analyst because of the dual-timing-model coverage. Enroll when ready, finish when ready.

What does the exam cover? +

Applied recovery judgment. The exam presents real recovery scenarios across both timing models the 5 min / 20 min Revenue at Risk callbacks and the 12h / 24h / 36h Recoverable Revenue estimates. It asks what to prioritize and how. Not memorization. If you've worked through the curriculum, you'll recognize the question types.

Are there more certifications after this? +

Performance Specialist (Level 3) is for marketers and analysts running the spend. Revalytics Certified Architect is the elite designation reserved for coaches and advisors who build and run the full system across multiple shops.

How do I share my credential once earned? +

Three ways. Add the digital badge to your LinkedIn profile (one-click integration). Link your verification page from any professional bio or email signature. Print or share the PDF certificate. The verification link works publicly anyone can confirm the credential is current and valid.
